GSL is a scripting language that has facilities for working over XML data trees, while working through various text-based templates.

In one way, this sounds kinda seductive, but when the core example for this is “build a static site generator”, I suspect that it’s not -as- nice as he thought it was.

That being said, coming up with a higher level representation of what a business needs -isn’t- a bad idea, though.
